What is a study tour?

A study tour is a unique travel experience that combines learning with travelling. The area of study that you are interested in exploring will determine how the tour is organised. For example, tours focussing on business study will see you visiting international corporations to learn directly from global experts. Art and architecture tours will see you travel with experts in their field and will give you the opportunity to explore the world’s architectural icons first hand whilst getting to meetand talk with international architects.

What is a study tour specialist?

Study tour specialists are expert in putting together seamless study tours, ensuring that each group is in the right location at the right time.Large group travel is a skill that requires significant logistical expertise.

Reho Travel have been booking study tours for over 20 years .We have a team of in-house travel experts who all specialise in putting together the travel requirements of study tours. Moreover Reho Travel employs a number of academics who have significant expertise in not only their disciple area but also in the development and running of study tours When you decide to run a study tour Reho Travel will put other a dedicated team, based specifically on your needs to help you with the process from development through to returning from your tour. Reho Travel  will also assist you with the recruitment of participants and the marketing of your study tour.

What is the Reho difference?

Reho Travel is differentiated in so far as we are not just interested organising the travel component of your study tour.  We have in-house academic expertise and will use this expertise to help you design your tour.  If you prefer we can design your tour for you leaving you to do what it is you do best.  We will even put together a marketing program for you to assist with the recruitment of participants.

How is a study tour any different from a group tour?

A study tour is based on the premise of learning while travelling .Whilst we certainly put in leisure time on your tour, the primary focus is on learning. You will be accompanied on your study tour by experts in your field and the focus of the tour will be on learning.

Does Reho have any readymade tours that I could join?

Yes reho has over 50 ready-made study tours across a range of disciplines that you can choose from.  Just call us to discuss.

I work in a corporation and I've been asked to organise a study tour?

We most certainly can put together a tour for you whether it is a tour to motivate, reward or inspire your staff or is entirely focused on learning.

What type of study tours does Reho offer?

Reho organises study tours across a broad range of disciplines, from business, architecture, film, engineering, health sciences and sport to name a few.  We also have a range a cultural and language tours.

The academic content of these tours can either be put together by you or we can organise it for you in conjunction with our in house academic experts.

Reho also has a series of ready-made study tours that we can set up for you.  Reho  Study Tours are targeted at University students, secondary students, professionals, corporates and groups of individuals who may be interested in a specific subject area that they are seeking to expand their knowledge of.

I am a university lecturer and I'd like to organise a study tour?

Call us.  We have over 20 years’ experience in organising study tours, and we also have a number of both academic experts as well as travel experts in house to help you put together an amazing learning experiencing for your students.

I am a teacher and I'd like organise a study tour?

Call us and we can discuss your needs.  Remember we can organise the tour for you or you can organise the academic components and we will organise the travel component.

I am a little anxious about travelling with so many students can Reho help us to manage our duty of care?

At Reho Travel we a system called Reassure that allows us to continually monitor all international incidents that may impact upon your group’s travel and we can set up this system to ensure that we have constant contact with your group.  We also have the facility set up so that each of the group participants check-in with us each day.  We take duty of care seriously and will monitor and keep in touch with the group at all times.

Are there a minimum number of travellers required to hold a study tour?

Generally you will need a minimum of 10 participants on a study tour  in order for the group to be classed as a tour, however we can run tours with fewer than this if necessary.

Will Reho help our group if we experience flight delays whilst travelling?

If your group experience flight delays that impact upon your forward journey then our consultants can assist you.

Will there be any support for my group whilst we are travelling?

Yes, Reho offers 24/7 after hours support for emergencies.  For non-emergency please email us and we will respond to you during business hours.

Can I travel by myself after the tour is over?

Absolutely, and we would encourage this. We are of course more than happy to work with tour participants individually to put together their post study tour travel.

I am not travelling on an Australian passport?

This is generally not a problem it just means that the visa requirements will differ and as such we will need more time to work with you in obtaining all of the necessary travel documents.

Do I need to organise my own visa?

Reho Travel will organise all visas for you as visa requirements will differ for each individual depending on the nationality of the passport holder.  Please remember that if you have a large number of participants on your tour travelling on non-Australian passports then we will need more time to organise all of the required visas.  Payment for visas is not generally included in the costing for the tour and these costs are typically borne by the individual participants.

What type of accommodation do we stay in?

Accommodation options will be based on your budget, but even if working on a tight budget we will not compromise quality and will endeavour to locate hotels that are well positioned to meet all of your travel needs.

How is payment organised?
